As Peter mentioned, Team0xf organized D programming workshops before.
They were aimed at intermediate programmers and covered topics ranging
from D basics, through lazy evaluation, delegates, D arrays, to
meta-programming and some tricker issues of D, like non-deterministic
destruction of objects, GC performance and debugging.
There were 8 workshops, total. The slides, video recordings and sample
programs can be downloaded (
http://workshop.team0xf.com/index.php?n=Main.Zajecia ), but are probably
only useful to Polish-speaking folks.

The current D course is organized by university staff and will end with
an exam, on which the students will present some simple projects in the
D language, as well as answer some questions about their code.

Awesome! I'll be interested to hear the instructors' experience teaching D once the term is complete. Sean

An interview of some sort would indeed be cool, we'll think about that :) -- Tomasz Stachowiak http://h3.team0xf.com/ h3/h3r3tic on #D freenode
