I'm not really a on stage talker type but I think the ideas here 
might be of interest to some people.

Several months back I started making a d2 like language using a 
weird combination of tree-sitter, wasm3, and stencil based jit.

By default code is  nogc because you have to mark code  gc if you 
want to use things that allocate. It uses arena allocators in 
somewhat interesting ways. I've stopped work on it for a few 
months because I got distracted with graphics things.

The ldc2 branch on my github is probably required to run the mac 
os gui demo. I have left my research docs in the repo too. 
Probably best read using an llm.
