Would allow for a nice collection library without the overhead of interfaces
(like java) and with reasonable compile time conformance checking (unlike C++).

This may not be too hard to work around in one's own code. Hmm, which suggests an idea: Dsource should have a "project" that is aimed at presenting the cleanest ways in D to work around some of the often asked-for features.
