Anyone knows where to get Zinc Application Framework for DOS? I have been able to get 5.3 for Win16 and Win32, and 6.0 for Win32, at http://www.zinc.com but need an older version that suports DOS. Thank you.
Sep 01 2002
I used to have it... The company in the Netherlands might still have it. I am not sure. I think however that the DOS interface was basically the Win16/Win32 stuff with a special library underneath that implemented the Win API on DOS... The problem is that I need it to work under DOS, I am planning to develop a Freedos GUI, and Zinc would be perfect. I have a copy of Framework 4.0 for sale on ebay if anyone wants it. Brand new, everything's sealed. Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2051775578

10 US$ are an excellent price, but if we add to this the shipping to Spain (where I live), it increases twice or more times its original cost, so I am interested in Zinc 4, but not in buying it. Since it would serve only as a training for me, and maybe to develop and open source project, it has no sense to pay for it. Even more, nowadays, Zinc 5.3, and 6.0 are also free and open source. If finally you are unable to sell it, I would be very pleased if you could send me a copy of the floppies.
