O'reillies big chart doesn't have us
http://www.oreilly.com/pub/a/oreilly/news/languageposter_0504.html

nor does it's predecessor
http://www.levenez.com/lang/

anyone feel like making an eloquent plea for the include of "our" D in these
lists?

Yah I know. I'm hoping I can con a better writer than me into coning those people into including D (joking about the conning) As an aside, does anyone known of a language that had a bigger following than D while still <1.0?

I email Eric Levenez about once a year asking him to put D on his list. His latest reply says he didn't think D was important because it wasn't on this page: http://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/anton/comp.lang-statistics/ (which it wouldn't be on because there is no comp.lang.d -- Walter). He doesn't think the Tiobe ranking is meaningful.

I did (there are roughly 100,000 D postings here!). But I don't expect a reply. The other guy's email address is invalid (for http://people.ku.edu/~nkinners/LangList/Extras/langlist.htm) The O'Reilly wiki says to edit just click the edit button, but there is no edit button.

where are the rest? I've only found 57K going back to ~4/04. Are there actual 40K posts on D outside the digitalmars.D tree?
