digitalmars.D.learn - Testing directory processing codes
- Russel Winder via Digitalmars-d-learn (17/17) Mar 14 2017 I am wondering how to test D functions that manipulate filestores.
I am wondering how to test D functions that manipulate filestores. In Python I'd wheel out pytest and create fixtures that use tempfile module functions to create temporary directories and files. I'd also try and use Hypothesis to do some property based testing using randomly generated directories and files. Moral of this story, I haven't done real D programming in quite a while, and am having to re-learn stuff. --=20 Russel. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:russel.winder ekiga.n= et 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: russel winder.org.uk London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder
