Is the windows version build against msvc especially unstable or why are 
you not distributing any binaries for that?

You mean on Win64? Yes, even though Kai almost competely 
implemented EH in LLVM, there is still quite a bit of porting 
work left to be done. The Win32/MinGW version, on the other hand, 
almost completely passes the test suite, and will be part of this 
release as a "preview" or "alpha" version.

Win32/MSVC is entirely unsupported, as LLVM doesn't provide SEH.
