- John Colvin (8/9) Feb 01 2017 Finding a replacement there might be easier if you mention this
- Dicebot (3/12) Feb 01 2017 Yes, was asked the same on Arch Linux mail list. Done now:
protected-headers="v1" From: Dicebot <public dicebot.lv> Newsgroups: d,i,g,i,t,a,l,m,a,r,s,.,D,.,i,n,t,e,r,n,a,l,s Subject: Stepping down from upstream responsibilities --LqFek9BanEokfEsCh5R8vGsg7lVoWfWcr Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable FYI: I am going to stop maintaining Arch Linux D packages and DIP repository, as well as any direct involvement with D development apart from the stuff required for my job. The reason is simply that amount of disagreement with upstream course of actions has reached the point where I can't sincerely support or represent it in any way - same as it has happened with Phobos before. If someone is willing to take over any of the important bits, please contact me. --LqFek9BanEokfEsCh5R8vGsg7lVoWfWcr--

Could you please share whether you are rescinding DIP management? In that case we'll need to name someone else. Thanks, Andrei

Hopefully there's someone who's already a Trusted User (or whatever else you need) who can take over. It seems like a lot of effort to contribute packages to the arch repos (compared to e.g. homebrew, where I just make a pull request with my build instruction ("Formula") changes and everything else is taken case of automatically).
