I never used CEDET due to no coding in C++ (coming from Haskell), but
I'm interested for whatever can enhance D experience in Emacs.

I wouldn't mind seeing it.  Eclipse is useful, but working in emacs is easier. 
I still prefer emacs over eclipse for most things.
