Unfortunately the Mono-D repository [1] hasn't been updated in 
more than 3 years, so I think using Monodevelop for D development 
is probably not your best bet.
And there should also be a notice about that on the wiki.

 your best bet.

Yes.

MonoDevelop has moved on. Its had two going on three major versions 
since aBothe moved on with life.

It was the best IDE IMO for D at the time (I still have it installed) 
but have switched to IntelliJ IDEA for D since then.

I've tried updating it, but honestly MonoDevelop's code base is one of 
the worst I've ever seen. Very few if any comments.
