digitalmars.D - hyphenator.js vs dlang.org

i get an error now on dlang.org:

<dlang.org>
Hyphenator.js says:
An Error occurred:
QUOTA_EXCEEDED_ERR

since it re-appears for every sup-page i now have to disable JS altogether for
dlang.

there must have been a change to the website during the last ~2 days, maybe as
a follow-up on the 'working on the dlang.org website' thread.

i know, i know, if i enable localStorage in my browser, the error message
disappears. but it is switched off for a reason and will stay off.

point is, i don't understand why Hyphenator.js all of a sudden wants to save
data on my computer.

most important, i thought the bottom line of the 'working on the dlang.org
website' thread was that everyone is sick of Hyphenator.js and wants it to be
taken out. please do so ASAP.

Yep, hyphenator was upgraded to 4.2.0 since then.

It uses it for caching the language files it bases hyphenation off of.

https://github.com/D-Programming-Language/dlang.org/pull/352 Needs to be reopened but the pull request to remove hyphenator is ready and waiting.
