Hi,
I was interested in working on the project related to
Persistent Data Structures for GSOC 2019, but the project does
not mention any expected skills or background. I have coded up
persistent data structures in C++ for programming competitions,
but the project description makes it appear that the student
needs experience with Functional Programming.
I would be grateful if someone could clarify the expected
prerequisite skills.
Thanks,
Athreya

FP experience would be nice to have, but experience with doing
things with PDS in C++ is very good too. The requirements are not
hard requirements, you're expected to learn after all.
