digitalmars.D.dwt - Distributing Windows Static Libraries in DWT
- Mike (13/13) Jul 24 2014 Walter has informed me that Digital Mars has a separate agreement
- Jacob Carlborg (4/14) Jul 24 2014 Ok, thanks for the heads up. A pull request would be awesome.
Walter has informed me that Digital Mars has a separate agreement with Microsoft permitting the redistribution of the static libs here (https://github.com/d-widget-toolkit/org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32. 86/tree/master/lib) with DMD. That agreement does not transfer to DWT. It appears the static libs are only used when building the snippets, however. I think it would be best to remove those .lib files from the Github repository, modify the build script, and update the instructions. I'll try to get it done in the next couple of weeks, but anyone else is also welcome to help. Mike
