digitalmars.D.bugs - [Bugzilla issue] Bug in the 'newsgroup post to bugzilla comment'

reply Bruno Medeiros <brunodomedeiros+spam com.gmail> writes:
Consider this post by Sender "%u <z gg.com>" :
news://news.digitalmars.com:119/ee51pk$hl2$1 digitaldaemon.com
now check the bugzilla bug entry and the corresponding comment:
http://d.puremagic.com/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=323
The comment is shown as originating from me, which as you can see is not
the case.

Reported as http://d.puremagic.com/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=362 .
I've reposted this here in the NG because it seems the d.puremagic.com
reports are not posted automatically in D.bugs NG, and I wanted to draw
some attention. In particular, mr. %u please be careful with your
postings meanwhile. ;)

About this %u thing, I think it's a problem with the new newsgroups UI: check all messages sent by "%u", and you'll find that User-Agent is "PHP News Reader v2.6.4 (CDSHEEN)" -- Carlos Santander Bernal

I think it's just the default user name, e.i. if someone forgets to change the user name, that show up as %u
