Mostly it's either postings from the web interface that break threads, or threads look broken when viewing them from the web interface. Simply put, the web interface is awful, and if you don't have a news client, get one. Fast.

I'm using a client (OmeaReader by JetBrains) for both posting and reading. <grumble> I wish it was that easy to fix.
