I don't think it'll take that much time for the book to hit shelves, but Amazon shows March, 2010 as a delivery date.

Publishing overheads are north of three months, but I'm working with the publisher to reduce them to the extent possible. AndreiWhat's the rush? Do you really think the compiler will be ready so soon? It would be silly to rush out a book about a language with an incomplete compiler. I don't say this to discourage you. I support your work, but it seems like it will take some time to implement all the new features properly. -Craig
