digitalmars.D.announce - "Programming in D" book is about 88% translated

I have continued with the translation of the book. There are 82 of the 
718 pages still to be translated. (However, I still need to write the 
UDA chapter.)

In addition to many corrections and additions throughout the book, there 
are the following chapters translated:

* Bit Operations
* Conditional Compilation
* is Expression
* Function Pointers, Delegates, and Lambdas
* foreach with Structs and Classes
* Unions
* Labels and goto

As a reminder, the book is available as PDF, downloadable from the 
header of each chapter:

Well, my might already be a bit out of fashion, given that I have been
living outside Portugal for the last ten years.

So it tends to get mixed with German every now and then. :)

Written Portuguese, especially after the orthography agreement,

NC is always kind of problematic as loosely defined. This is by 
far the dark corner of CC. I hope this also do not prevent you 
from finding a publisher (not sure how this work precisely, but 
definitively think that a paper version of your book is something 
interesting).

It must be touching an irrational side of humans: Giving it completely 
free is fine, but other people's making profit off of it is somehow 
wrong! I can't explain why I feel that way. Must be primal genes... :)

Thanks. I will worry about that once the translation is completed. I may

I think it basically boils down to fairness (interesting, there are  =

studies which show other primates exhibit and understanding of fairness =

When someone sells something they are essentially saying you can have th=

compensate, so asking for compensation is unfair.  We have no problem wi=

something they haven't earned.

There may also be an impression that if they're selling it, they are  =

asserting they did create it, that it is their work in some way, and thi=

claim is fraudulent and again conflicts with our sense of fairness.

I am not sure that I understand but if you are referring to my broken 
English, then yes, it is a constant worry. (Additionally, Ouch! :p) 
Actually, I say in the Acknowledgments section that what I write can 
best be described as Inglish, not English. ;)
