digitalmars.D.announce - Problem with web interface
There is a problem with the web interface to access the newsgroup: when I display say http://www.digitalmars.com/webnews/newsgroups.php?art_group=digitalmars.D&article_id=47297 the threaded answers are linked to digitalmars.D.announce not digitalmars.D which breaks the link of course. Regards, renoX

It seems to be some kind of bug in Web-News. I haven't made any attempt to correct it, but I suspect it has to do with cookies or some sort of session information. I think the problem is that I refreshed one newsgroup, then I clicked a message from another newsgroup (in another tab). And for whatever reason, it gives be links for the newsgroup that I had refreshed more recently. It's annoying, but pnews doesn't give me any kind of threaded view, so Web-News is still an improvement. And I can quickly edit the URL to give me the right link.
