Glad to announce LDC 1.43. Some major changes: * Based on D 2.113.0. * Support for LLVM 22. The prebuilt packages use v22.1.8. * Minimum LLVM version raised to 18. * DRuntime and Phobos now support WASI preview levels 1 and 2, as well as Emscripten, incl. general WebAssembly fixes for EH and GC support. Thanks to Demetrius for making this happen! * New prebuilt addon packages for simple cross-compilation, for Windows, Android, WASI and Emscripten targets. * The ` restrict` UDA is now supported for dynamic-array parameters too. Builtin array ops use it, enabling auto-vectorization. * Revamped codegen for *naked* DMD-style inline assembly, lifting a few former restrictions. * dcompute: Support embedding native device code (PTX and SPIR-V) into the host executable's `.rodata` section. Full release log and downloads: https://github.com/ldc-developers/ldc/releases/tag/v1.43.0 Thanks to all contributors & sponsors!

I tested my emscripten demos with the new release and everything seems to be working on my end. I will look forward to trying out the Android addon packages later on this term. Thank you to everyone for your hard work!

I tried cross-compiling for Windows, and it's obviously way easier than setting up a Windows environment, especially for those of us that don't use Windows. In case anyone else gets confused when setting it up, the installation directory and the addon both have /etc subdirectories. You need to merge them.

Right now I am linking manually like this: ```sh ldc2 -c --mtriple=wasm32-wasip1 source/index.d source/wasip1libc.d wasm-ld \ -o index.wasm \ index.o wasip1libc.o \ "$LDC_WASIP1_FOLDER/libphobos2-ldc.a" "$LDC_WASIP1_FOLDER/libdruntime-ldc.a" \ --export=_start --gc-sections --error-limit=0 ```* DRuntime and Phobos now support WASI preview levels 1 and 2, as well as Emscripten, incl. general WebAssembly fixes for EH and GC support. Any intention to make an addon for amd64-linux-glibc2.17? I heard many complaints that people can't easily compile backward compatible executables.

And there's the Alpine packages too, to build fully static musl-based binaries (`-static`) - either on Alpine directly or with a musl toolchain -, or cross-compile to glibc-Linux on an ancient distro (since the `ldc2` executable is e.g. fully static).
