Congratulations are in order for the authors of DIP 1053, "Tuple Unpacking Syntax". Walter and Atila have approved it based on the following rationale: Tuples are a significant feature that experience with other languages shows has utility. D already has tuples, but they are clumsy to use. We could realistically have this feature shipping or at least in beta as soon as early next year.
