The D Language Foundation is thrilled to announce that registration for DConf 2018, May 2-5 in Munich, is now open. The programme is set, the speakers are crafting their slides, and we're counting down the days. In addition to the traditional keynotes from D language stewards Walter Bright and Andrei Alexandrescu, our invited keynote comes from Martin Odersky, professor at EPFL and creator of the Scala language. Liran Zvibel of WekaIO will close out the talks on Day 3. That's 21 hours of talks followed on May 5th by the 2nd Annual DConf Hackathon, an all-day event where D coders get together to brainstorm, squash bugs, and improve the D programming experience. All of that combines with friendly people and intelligent conversation to create the meetup of meetups for the D language community. But DConf isn't just for D coders. No matter which language your text editor speaks, we warmly invite you to join us. We love to introduce DLang to the uninitiated, exchange ideas, and make new friends. Like German beer? So do we! Join us for a few in Munich! Visit dconf.org to see the programme[1] and register[2], then head over to the D Blog[3] for the latest post on DConf. See you in Munich May 2-5!
