digitalmars.D.announce - D under Omnicore X-develop ?
Not a real announcement, but pointing at something that may lead to a cool announcement in the future... I have heard good things about http://www.omnicore.com/xdevelop_comparison.htm lately. They seem to have a plugin API so that new languages can be added http://www.omnicore.com/xdevelop_extend.htm . Maybe it is an easier job than a VisualStudio plugin or an Eclipse plugin. Not sure. Just wanted to point that out for people interested in writing a plugin to have a neat IDE for D. Not free like Eclipse, but it seems to be more affordable than VS.NET, and more flexible perhaps ? marcio
