I'm looking into D from time to time and I have already coded some little apps. My problem is, I don't know when the language definition stays as it is. I thougth the version 2.0 would bring this, but now there is all these things about const. What I ask for is perhaps some idea about when the language will be stable. In version 2.1? Or will it be 3.0? I like D a lot and I'm really interested in using it. Greetings Lukas

When 2.0 is done, it will become stable, and 3.0 (or pray 2.9 or similar) will be the development/unstable version. -- Lars Ivar Igesund blog at http://larsivi.net DSource, #d.tango & #D: larsivi Dancing the Tango
