digitalmars.D - Release schedule delay - version 1.115.0

reply Paul Adriaanse <pea.adriaanse gmail.com> writes:
The release schedule states yet-unreleased versions
1.112.0-1.115.0

Due to some bugs in both dmd and ldc2, I'm currently unable to
build my project (save for using the dmd-nightly build).

When will the next release of either dmd or ldc2 be published?

No idea. What is the bug?

They've been fixed on both main branches in dmd & ldc2 (unreleased save for nightly). It prevented ImportC from working, either nog finding `importc.h`, having issues with paths with spaces (like "Program Files", ironically), or allegedly failing to find e.g. `cl.exe` (even though it was definitely accessibly). I've resolved my issue by temporarily using the nightly build, but I'm kind of shocked this kind of issue can be present on the main release of 2 of the compilers for at least 6 months. It's not an isolated problem either. Tested using the documentations example on another device with windows 11 (instead of 10) alongside a fresh install.
