I was interested in his project back when he was active in the D community, but I haven't heard from Mike in a while. I think he lost interest in D (link 1 below). I don't know if you were aware, but Mike set up a dsource project for DFC called L8night (link 2). (I think that's where the latest source is.) You might be able to get his attention by sending him a "private message" through the dsource forum (link 3). By the way, I doubt that DFC compiles with anything in the DMD 1.x series so that would be a first step that you might want to do before converting it to DMD 2.x. Also, DFC required the Core32 project (link 4) (which I made a half-hearted effort to maintain for a while), but it'd probably make more sense to change it to depend on the newer WindowsAPI project (link 5). link 1: http://www.dsource.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=310 link 2: http://www.dsource.org/projects/l8night/ link 3: http://www.dsource.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=17 link 4: http://www.dsource.org/projects/core32 link 5: http://www.dsource.org/projects/bindings/wiki/WindowsApi
