Hello D Community,

I wanted to share a project I've been working on that might be of 
interest: the **[G Language](https://glang.ct.ws)**.

G is a minimalist, memory-safe interpreter for systems scripting 
with a footprint of about 2.4MB. The entire toolchain is written 
in D.

Recently, it was accepted into both the 
**[awesome-d](https://github.com/dlang-community/awesome-d)** 
list and the 
**[awesome-programming-languages](https://github.com/ChessMax/awesome-prog
amming-languages)** directory. I also wrote an article about the experience of
building it and getting feedback from Walter Bright: [When Walter Bright Told

  I'm sharing this here for two reasons: first, to say thank you 
to the D community and ecosystem that made it possible, and 
second, in case anyone is curious about a non-trivial use of D 
for building language tools.

or questions from the community that understands the foundation 
it's built upon.
