Hello, everyone!

Google Summer of Code [1] is yet again going to be held this year
and we want to get in. Mentor organizations can apply starting
the 19th of January so we have already begun preparing our
application. To improve our chances of being selected we need to
have strong project proposals (the more the better). As such, if
you have any proposals, please feel free to post them here,
however, ideally, you would also be willing to be the mentor for
your proposal. Generally, we are in short supply of mentors so
anyone who is willing to do that will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
RazvanN

https://github.com/dlang/project-ideas as far as I can tell youve never listened to outsiders ideas for the language and you keep going with university students presumably form the same universitys I dont know who these people are, doing esoteric refactoring shit. Whats different this year. You demand docs in some pretend format, but then just discard any you dislike anyway. I suggest dropping the pretense, whats the actual mythology here.

Better WASM support would be nice to have. Currently D WASM is mostly limited to -betterC subset, would be nice to have the entire language available, GC included. There's been some attempts at D runtime for WASM, but they never end up merged into the actual D mainline repo :(

Are you willing to mentor such a project? If not, do you have a suggestion for a potential mentor?
