digitalmars.D - Forum performance hiccups

reply Rene Zwanenburg <renezwanenburg gmail.com> writes:
Over the past few weeks I've noticed increasing performance
issues with the web interface. Most of the time everything works
fine, but every now and then it takes between ten to twenty
seconds to load a page. It used to be quite rare but now it
happens quite often, usually multiple times when I'm clicking
around the forum.

I'm quite certain it isn't my internet connection; this happens
both at work and at home, and other sites are fine. Has anyone
else noticed this as well? Also, is there something I can do to
help track this down?

There are some IO-intensive tasks running on a server right now which should be done in a few days. They've been running for a few days, not weeks, though.
