- aberba (9/9) Jul 13 Zed editor was recently released for Linux.
- aberba (3/12) Jul 13 My bad, here's a link to the issue
- Serg Gini (7/9) Jul 14 And Walter opened a new issue as well :)
- Dejan Lekic (12/20) Jul 23 Fortunately it happens that you are wrong.
Zed editor was recently released for Linux. ![Zed](https://zed.dev/img/post/zed-on-linux/zed-on-linux.png) https://zed.dev/blog/zed-on-linux This means we now have official builds for Mac and Linux, Windows can be built from source. Unfortunately D isn't supported yet so I have created a request for D support in Zed editor, please throw your weight behind it by clicking thumbs up or commenting on the issue. The more likes the better...target is 200 to beat Flutter 😄

But if this new will boost the development of the code - than it is good, I just don't understand how it helps

Check this out: ![Zed with D support](https://gcdnb.pbrd.co/images/griJGVesV90o.png?o=1) (Full size screenshot available here: https://pasteboard.co/griJGVesV90o.png) There is a tiny arrow down next to "sign in" (top right corner). Click on it, pick the "Extensions", find the "D" extension in the list and click on the Install button. Thanks to ryuukk (IRC) who helped me find this out last week. Zed authors need to work on their UI skills...
