the formatting to be done with DDOC* and I arther suspect that this would
happen faster if the task were opened up to the community at large and not
just Walter (I'd rather he spend time on 2.0 rather than reformatting 1.0

* I hope the be able to use the formatting to extract the BNF for use in a
parser generator.
