digitalmars.D - Ai and gui's

English(if you want to debate chinese is a better language for
thinking, your wrong but no one should be arguing js is peak
human language) how many works of shakespear could be compressed
in the space a single second of 4k tictok dance?

I also believe the ball of hallucinations need to be paired with
versifiers; with code, protein folding and code we have such
versifiers and such ai is doing well. But our verification tools
for guis are rather poor compared to an built in unit tests for a
range.

The industries answer to this is what I call "dom-walkers" such
as antigravity; they are kinda shit still and hate the
implication that being of even further degrading of native apps
to be "everything is a sassy webpage" and not to lie, I get some
results that way.

I dont want to go down this path, I dont want shit web apps, and
d probably isn't ready anyway. Whats a different way forward, how
can ai write gui apps in d?

Monkyyy’s messages are so hard to understand that I can clearly say this is written either by monkyyy or 1B model, because even 3B model can do better at reasoning

The reason Monkyyy posts are hard to understand is that he's basically an AI bot that's been fed on conspiracy memes.

Both ChatGPT and Gemini could not understand the question. Please talk with the manager. And tictok dances are awesome! You should try them. I would follow for sure.

Well my opinion about GUIs is that you should make them in a way that works for you. Trying to use one solution for everything sounds painful, at least for the things I care about (le games). We have some UI libs already in D land and they seem unique if you compare them. We don't have the same thing two times *in my opinion*. Will read the ai page later. Just wanted to talk about random things.

It should be easier in some ways, now: 1. nobody cares anymore about applications "looking native". 2. nobody cares anymore about larger downloads because you need to ship your own libraries and runtime. 3. the competition is all horrifically slow Electron apps. and harder: the slow Electron apps are pretty good on IMEs, accessibility, and internationalization.
