I generally find Joel Spolsky's blog a very fine read, and today I almost thought he was writing about D, check it out: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/items/2006/08/01.html <shameless plug> With some good help from Oskar, I rewrote the examples in D over at my blog</shameless plug> and sent a mail to Joel. Having him mention D would most certainly boost the awareness of D out there, although I suspect that he won't do much more than possibly read my mail. -- Lars Ivar Igesund blog at http://larsivi.net DSource & #D: larsivi

IIRC, his book mentioned how he had to write a 'pascal string' C lib. for a project (to avoid strlen() inefficiencies) and I took the opportunity to mention D at that time. Didn't get anything back, but didn't really expect to either.I generally find Joel Spolsky's blog a very fine read, and today I almost thought he was writing about D, check it out: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/items/2006/08/01.html <shameless plug> With some good help from Oskar, I rewrote the examples in D over at my blog</shameless plug> and sent a mail to Joel.
