Hello, Has anyone else experienced this problem where issuing a step command while debugging would effectively hang your system, bringing everything to a complete crawl? Even mouse pointer movement becomes sluggish and opening Task Manager takes ages, while SCWMN32.EXE is near 100% CPU usage. I've had this happen to me several times already under Windows XP Professional. I have determined it happens at one particular spot in my project, but it is quite large. Once I have some more time I will try reproducing it in smaller, isolated example and post it here. If you mean windbg.exe from the Digital Mars distribution, it did pass on the same code without problems, but I haven't used it much really.
