c++.announce - Power Down...

Well, it finally happened... Somebody killed the power with his
car... (Car accident and hit the power pole)
For 10 minutes this is OK as the server is backed up by a UPS,
but I do not think that thing will last for an hour. So finally,
after having it ready to rock 'n' roll for almost 3 years, I had
to roll out the Generator and had the server running on the
generator for about an hour...
None of you should have experienced any interruption of service.

Jan, bringing out the generator is service above and beyond the call of duty. Your servers have had much more reliability than my big corporate ISP. Thanks!
