It's called Empire the Official Strategy Guide.

Walter, I have in my hand the following: 1. Zortech C compiler (for which I might even still have the manual), black with white lettering, 7 x 5 1/4 disks. First disk is a copy, the others are originals. Couldn't say if they are still readable. 2. 8 5 1/4 disks marked Zortech C++. Small label blue C, red + yellow +. All original. I haven't a clue which version. 3. 9 5 1/4 disks marked Zortech C++. Label across the top, gradient from black on the left to blue/grayish texture on the right. No version markings. 4. 8 3 1/2 disks marked Zortech C++ for Windows, DOS & OS/2 Version 3.0, Symantec release. 5. 10 3 1/2 disks marked Zortech C++ for Windows, DOS & OS/2 version 3.1 I think maybe 7.0, 7.2 and 7.5 on CD, but I would have to dig elsewhere. Haven't checked the readability of the 3 1/2 disks, and can't for the 5 1/4 disks. Interested? Chris

All except the 7.5 I suppose, I have no support issues that require the older versions, it just tangible proof of my long-standing preference for your compiler ;-) I still haven't found all the CD version I think I have, will have another look. Chris

I have DOS 2 on IBM disks, and DOS 1.0 on a non IBM disk. I was a licensed

Let me know if they would be of help. They are your for the asking.

Walter,

I have a Zortech C++ 3.0 in the original box (white, blue trim at the top), all
disks, all manuals. In mint condition. I already tried to mail you about it
through your personal website, but I am not sure I got through. Also didn't know
the version at that time, so I climbed up to the attic to dig it up.

I also have Symantec C++ 6.0 and 7.0 lying around (same attic, different
corner), also in the box with manuals. 6.0 is diskettes, 7.0 is CD. I also have
the upgrade CD to 7.1 or 7.2 (can't remember which).

Anton.

P.S. I love that my favourite compiler is back as digitalmars. Ordered the CD a
couple of days ago. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I'd love to have them. If you don't want to send them to me, don't throw them away - they'll bring a good price on Ebay.

I have your package here on my desk, it goes to the post office today. I haven't been able to drive since last Saturday when I hurt my back, but there's a pile of international shipments to make and think I can get there today. -Walter

That's the spirit that makes/will make DigitalMars great, shipping even when
injured. But please take good care of that back. Back injuries are very
unpleasant and shouldn't be taken lightly. I'd rather wait an extra couple of
days for the CD than have you strain yourself to a point beyond which coding
would get too hard ;-)

I'll dig up the rest of my old versions of your compiler and get in touch with
you again on the details of how what and where to send later.

Actually, it heals faster if you get up and about, and it did feel good to be out for the first time in days. In any case, your order went into the jaws of the postal system yesterday <g>. Due to post office regulations, I cannot mail international shipments from a mail box, I must take them in to the post office.
