c++ - Is cl.exe a virus?

reply Walter Bright <newshound1 digitalmars.com> writes:
Some antivirus programs, such as McAfee and Symantec, have misidentified
\dm\bin\cl.exe as a virus.

cl.exe is not a virus.

Symantec says they have updated their virus signatures to no longer
label cl.exe as a virus.

McAfee may need to be disabled in order to run the scw32.exe IDDE
because McAfee incorrectly blocks it.
