familiar with it. Is there a place for D lang on Discord where I

Eh, plenty of discussion happens here, too. Discord is where 
fast-paced discussions happen. Forum discussions are less frantic 
and easier to keep up with when you don't have time to scroll 
through the 300+ messages that were posted since the last time 
you checked. Not dissing the Discord server :-) Just noting that 
it's more suited to real-time discussion.

Hi Imperatorn

It seems like the activity level in the D forums is dropping off 
quite a bit but development activity continues apace. From the 
comment above I presume discord is where people are 
communicating?  If so that's unfortunate for me.  Discord is not 
well suited for professional activities as it only allows a 
single account per phone number and many people already have a 
personal account on discord.

Is there maybe a github discussion area or some other forum 
besides this one for GDC development that I've overlooked?

If you have nitro you can also change your profile picture too.

The slack is just called dlang

It's basically only for core dev work though

This forum seems to be plenty good enough as responses do appear 
to specific questions.  Unfortunately it does mean much GDC 
discussion is not public (as in searchable via google) but that's 
okay.

You can if you want (please do), I just mean that there's not 
much chit chat whereas the discord has a lot of idle chatter 
about various things some related to programming some not.
