c++ - Note to Jan re Article
Jan, With Walter and Christof ironing out the last wrinkles of full C++ compliance it would be nice of you to revisit http://www.janknepper.com/Programming/C++/C++.html which by the way I use every time I promote Digital Mars -- and recommend others do as well. The statement "does not support the Koenig lookup" is now wrong! With Christof's chart now so full of "pass" entries, I've started using that too. http://cmeerw.org/prog/freecpp/ Jan you might want to showcase one of the more obscure torture test programs such as that Scott Meyers "thing from hell" shown vanquished in the thread c++.stl/46 Thank you Jan and Christof! Jan I cannot write about your personal experience with compilers. If there is no time for an update, we understand completely. Thank you. Mark Jan 10 2003
Mark, I meant showcasing one or more of the obscure torture test programs... All these things take time, not just to compile them, but also to write about them in a structured and logical way.
